Shiranui is a type of citrus that continues to send nutrients to its fruit while it remains on the tree throughout the cold winter. Maturing it on the tree can cause the tree to wither and become more susceptible to disease, but Marumatsu Farm's family uses their skilled experience and knowledge to adjust the timing and method of the maturation process to create "Cyoujyuku Shiranui". They put in a lot of effort to prevent the trees from weakening and to protect the ripe and delicious fruits from pests, resulting in a super-ripe and delicious fruit.
