Nagano Purple Grapes

Produced in the Nagano Prefecture, the Nagano Purple grape is a cross breed between the Kyoho and Rizamarto varieties. The large, juicy dark purple grapes have high sugar content, low acidity and a wine-like aroma. A bunch of Nagano Purple grapes is said to have almost the same amount of resveratrol (a kind of polyphenol) as a bottle of red wine.

FARM FACT: The Farm is located in the Nagano Prefecture and the farmer uses organic fertilizers with minimal pesticides.
