Akizuki Pear, also known as "Akizuki Nashi" in Japanese, is a variety of Asian pear (Pyrus pyrifolia) that is cultivated primarily in Japan. This pear is a cross breed between 3 other variants (Hosui, Kosui and Niitaka). It is known for its distinct appearance, sweet flavor, and crisp texture. These pears are also prized for their sweet, juicy, and refreshing flavor. These pears can have a mild, fragrant aroma, adding to their overall appeal.

FARM FACT: The Pear Farm is located in the Niigata prefecture, a city blessed with both fertile soil and clean water. The farm boasts more than 100 years of pear farming history and experience. The farmer uses organic fertilizers and microorganisms to improve the soil condition, and DOES NOT use any chemical fertilizers and pesticides.
