Sun Fuji Apple

Sun Fuji apples are the most favoured variant in Japan, much sweeter than regular Fuji apples. Sun Fuji apples have high sugar content mixed with moderate acidity, creating a crisp and refreshing sweet taste with a subtle floral, tangy complexity. After the apple is cut, you might even see a deep yellow translucent "honey core" on some pieces.

FARM FACT: The apple farmer is located in the northern Nagano Prefecture, one of the largest agricultural production areas in Japan highly regarded for its high quality. The farm grows fruits that are known for their balanced taste, texture and aroma. The farm has 92% returning customers and emphasizes on using organic fertilizers to improve the soil quality. The farm's orchard is located at a high altitude, allowing a huge difference between the day and night temperatures which improves the quality of the fruits.
